Jim,

   Types103 and 560 definitely use different approaches to the thermal 
and electrical energy balance but I am wondering if the issues you are 
seeing actually have to do with differences in the incident radiation 
due to the way that those models treat incidence angle modifiers. Can 
you try running a case in which the solar radiation is normal to the 
panel and constant? Make sure to set the IAMs in Type560 to unity as 
well as the Type103 tau-aplha product to the same.
