[TRNSYS-users] Question

Senne,
Typically the way this would be accomplished is to connect the flow
from Type60's outlet to the active layer fluid inlet temperature and
mass flow rate via a pump and to turn the pump on and off based on the
control signal of a thermostat that watches the zone temperature
(Type108 would be a good choice for the thermostat model). The tank
would then be kept warm separately by some kind of heater. Type60 has a
thermostat and heater built into it if you want to use an electric or
gas element. Take a look at parameters 15 through 29. If you are heating
the tank by external means (a solar collector, a heat pump, etc.) then
Type2 is probably the correct choice but it should look at the tank
bottom temperature and the outlet temperature of the heating device.
Kind regards,
 David
