[TRNSYS-users] Multiple zones on same mechanical components

Just as in real life a thermostat cannot get information from more than
one sensor so too the TRNSYS thermostat model can only monitor one
temperature (although it shouldn't crash if you try to connect more than
one; we'll look into that). You need to decide in which Type56 zone your
thermostat is going to be located. The temperature control in the other
parts of the building isn't going to be as good but again, that is how a
building works in reality. You can of course feed the Type56 zone
temperatures through an equation or a component that takes the average
temperature of the Type56 zones and then allow your thermostat to
monitor the average temperature rather than a specific temperature.
kind regards,
David
