[TRNSYS-users] TRNSYS-EES coupling error

Hoofar,
Unfortunately I think the problem may have to do with EES being
located in the C:\Program Files (x86)\ directory. I am a bit surprised
that spaces in the pathname are giving you trouble, you /should /be able
to type the path enclosed in double quotes and have it resolve
correctly. I will certainly have a look and make sure that we don't have
a problem there. Can you send me the TRNSYS project and EES file that
you are working with? I can see if it is possible to recreate the
problem here.
However, spaces in path names aside, Windows is /very /restrictive
about allowing software to create or modify files in the \Program Files\
directory. Even if the user account has administrative rights, the
software itself may not and Windows will block the communication. I
realize in your email you said that you cannot move EES out of the
\Program Files (x86)\ so I realize this response may be of limited use.
regards,
David
