[TRNSYS-users] Type 28

Wang,
Type28 is able to perform some manipulations on its inputs in order
to perform energy balances or unit conversions. The manipulations are
specified through a list of numeric codes that appears in the third
field of the "special cards" tab in the proforma. The error that you are
obtaining is saying that one of the operation codes specifies that a
manipulation should be performed on an output that doesn't exist. For
example, you would get this error if the operation codes specify that
the 5th output of component X should be moved onto the stack but
component X only has 4 outputs.

I would strongly recommend that you not use Type28's ability to
perform these manipulations. It is very easy to make an error when
setting up a list of operation codes. Instead, I would recommend that
you use a block of equations to perform the unit conversions or energy
balances that you want, then pass the result of those equations to a
more standard output device (Type25 or Type46).
Regards,
  David
