[TRNSYS-users] shading an horizontal surface

Dear trnsys users
 
how can I totally shade the surface of an element (ec roof) using a trnsys component (probably type 67). 
 
how the "opening" in type 68 is considered to be horizontal? should type 67 be combined to another type?
