[TRNSYS-users] shading an horizontal surface

Artemi,
   The "opening" that Type67 and 68 talk about is really just a surface 
on which a certain amount of solar radiation is falling; it can be a 
roof or a skylight, a wall, or a window. You define its orientation the 
way you define all orientations, with a slope and an azimuth. The slope 
for a horizontal surface is zero, its azimuth doesn't matter. Type68 is 
obsolete; type67 should be used in its place. Both calculate the 
reduction in beam and diffuse radiation caused by objects that surround 
a surface. The surrounding objects are treated as opaque and are assumed 
to be a known height, distance, and direction from the shaded surface.
