[TRNSYS-users] Fortran compiler

   When Studio generates Fortran code, it tries 
to automatically launch the Compaq Visual Fortran 
compiler. If you do not have that particular 
compiler installed, you will get the "failed to 
find path" error but the *.for code will still be 
created so that you can build a DLL using a different compiler.

Normally, there is no need to open the source 
code (*.for) in the TRNSYS Studio (which expects 
a *.tpf or *.tmf file extension). The source code 
needs to be opened using a Fortran compiler.
