[TRNSYS-users] TRNSYS 16 - Type25b (User-Supplied Units) Problem

Dear All,

 

Type 25b (User-Supplied units) seems to have problem. I have had the
following error message a number of times with various projects.
Usually, the error message appear after a number of runs and when you
edit the connections to this TYPE. Unfortunately, the TRNSYS 16 error
diagnostics (see below) doesn't seem to be able to detect this problem
and provide a solution.

 

My solution so far is: simply change this to Type25c ... never use type
25b.

    TRNSYS Message     48 : The TRNSYS processor has reported that an
unrecognized control card was found while trying to read the input file.
This error can be caused by underspecifying a required number of items
in the input file.  For example, specifiying only 9 parameters after a
"PARAMETERS 10" card has been read can cause this error. The line that
caused this error is listed in the reported information below.
