Hi Mike,
Take a closer look at the tabs along the bottom of the attached worksheet:
Paste EG_MoEU.CSV Here ß do what it says. The CSV file is generated when you run a simulation in the same directory as your other project files, and can also be opened in excel.
Input Utility Data Here ß Revise the colored cells to match your records
Graphs ß Here you'll find your model's energy consumptions/demands plotted against your utility data. Some "multiplier" cells on that sheet help you visualize the impact of varying the different consumption types, which is occasionally useful for determining what might attention while fine-tuning a model.
After doing this once, you simply paste the new CSV any time you want to check against your utility data.

Subject: [Equest-users] Actual vs model- utiltiys
Ok,
here is my stupid question-I deleted my equest box with some great answers
Some one sent me this wonderful spreadsheet about utilitys-thank you
yet I am cloudy on what the answer really means for inputting actual utilty use into my model.
Is that even done with equest and if so, where in the process can you do it, Schematic wizard.? DD wizard?
I see rates for block, demand , yet nothing for inputting the exact amount of therms or KWH in each month with usage numbers, I have built my model and saved in DD mode so editing the utilty use from the component tree seems to not work?
My memory with this attached spreadsheet - I would run my building simulation and save to a sheet like this and then revise to current usage and somehow upload back into my model. WoW.!!
Can anybody help with that process
Thanks in advance
