[Equest-users] Actual vs model- utiltiys

Mike:

That spreadsheet came from me via an "Unimpeachable source". You run eQuest,
extract the "cut and paste" from the .CSV file created in .sim file and compare
it to actual utility data. You NEVER can input utility data directly into eQuest
and expect it to disseminate (sp?) electricity, for example, into lights, plug
lod, space cooling, etc.

BTW, the spreadsheet has an interesting feature in that you can put a multiplier
into the spreadsheet to see what elements in your model may need "tweaking" in
order to match your bills.

Unfortunately, I do not have a tool whereas you can input actual weather from
that year and modify the model to match the real weather (a competing program
DOES).

Subject: [Equest-users] Actual vs model- utiltiys

Ok,
here is my stupid question-I deleted my equest box with some great answers

Some one sent me this wonderful spreadsheet about utilitys-thank you
yet  I am cloudy on what the answer really means for inputting actual utilty use
into my model.

Is that even done with equest and if so, where in the process can you do it,
Schematic wizard.? DD wizard?
I see rates for block, demand , yet nothing for inputting the exact amount of
therms or KWH in each month with usage numbers, I have built my model and saved
in DD mode so editing the utilty use from the component tree seems to not work?

My memory with this attached spreadsheet - I would run my building simulation
and save to a sheet like this and then revise to current usage and somehow
upload back into my model. WoW.!!
Can anybody help with that process
Thanks in advance
