I'd say it makes them look more attractive astral
parasites. Serves them getting all greedy like that.

I'd actually say that hoarding of charges may
eventually break taboo. The actual magic is the
validation for the adept to focus on his Obsession. It
geases the wheels of his twisted world-view.

take away the grease and the adept might start getting
reservations about his choice of actions.

I would rack limits to it, when I could remove 10% off
the adept's magic skill. Similar to an avatar who
breaks taboo with his archetype.
