Why don't you contact the Spanish translators and run
an errata page for all these misquips.

The only reason I learned about Horatio Alger was from
his semi-frequent mentions in Hunter Thompson books.

Spain on the other hand has a massive unfinished
cathedral called the Sangria something or other and
the Spanish artists of bizarre: El Greco, Francesco
Goya, Pablo Picasso, and Salvador Dali. There is lots
of stuff you can use.
