There's a small bit about Spain that you may find interesting for your
campaign.

Driving across spanish roads, sometimes you'll see these ten meter-high
advertisement boards in the shape of a black bull. They were conceived
as advertisement for a certain brandy manufacturer called "Osborne", and
have been a part of the spanish landscape for thirty years.

Now, a few years ago european laws deemed that all commercial ads along
interstates should be removed. To avoid this, Osborne removed its name
from the ads, leaving only the bull's shape with no letters. This wasn't
enough, but there was public and artistic outcry about the removal of
the bulls, arguing that the bulls had artistic value and have been a
part of the landscape for so long that now they are part of spanish
culture. So the bulls remain in place.

Here's an image of an Osborne bull:

It's quite impressive if you see it while driving. And you can see it
along the most important spanish roads.

The Osborne bull belongs to a race of bulls bred solely for bullfighting
purposes. Bullfighting is a highly ritualized activity involving a blood
sacrifice, and its origin is possibly connected to Mitra and other pagan
cults.

(Haroudo, in case you're interested, I got this stuff from a spanish
free e-zine at http://www.dracomrol.com/thefreaktimes.htm It changes
its content weekly, so if you can't find the article, e-mail me and I'll
send you a copy)
