When I read the thread title, I thought, "Now that's really a cool idea! I
loved that movie!" But then, I read the body. *sigh*
Ultimately, it's a freedom of expression issue; I'd start by pushing
Article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights:
"Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right
includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive
and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of
frontiers."
(There may also be a provision in the Brazilian Constitution to help you
out. I'm hardly a expert on the matter, so I could well be wrong.)
Anyway, it's 2AM, and I'm tired and dealing with many other issues at the
moment, including threats to freedoms in my own country that have occurred
as a spinoff from September 11. However, I can talk to some friends who
might be able to suggest contacts in Brazil that could help you. If you're
interested, please feel free to contact me off-list.
Sheesh, I've been in a really activist mood of late...

"'Kevin,' David interrupted, 'what the Germans should have done
was show the Russians a dead cat and ask them to explain it.'
"'That would have stopped the Soviet offensive right there,' I said.
"Zhukov would still be trying to account for the cat's death.'"
