I don't know. What I know is they are mainly involved in smuggling
cigarettes and arms to Albania and former Yugoslavia, and they
seem to be somewhat allied with Albanian crimelords. Puglia also
experiences massive immigrant influx from Albania, which peaked
in 1991 (where some 30000 albanians arrived in few days following
the death of communist regime) and in 1998 (same as before, just
this time were 50000, IIRC.). To get a feel about it, Puglia is
(somehow) for most italians what mexican border is for Americans.

SCU also uses armored veichles to transport arms and tobaccoes.
These veichles sport bulletproof tires and windscreens, huge
bumpers to break roadblock and even oil dispenser 007-style.

Above it all, SCU doesn't seem to have any code of honour, while
Mafia and Camorra do have (or at least they seem to have) one.

Yes. Seek out "I Trulli di Alberobello". It's a touristical spot, but its
architecture is quite no one in whole italy. Although even small
towns in Italy can give quite a surprise, for the historical minded.

Remember, Italy was divided in more than ten states until 1861,
and even today, a Northener and a Southerner cannot comprehend
each other when they speak their own dialect. :-)
