Agreed, but then there is a clash between GM's grand master plan 
and players which want nothing more than bashing some 
monsters. It's knowing what you want from the game as a player, 
and knowing what to give to your players as a GM. 

When these expectations are not the same, there is going to be 
some disappointment between GM and players.
