This swings both ways, too. If you're not having fun
with a game, don't play it. (Which is the crux of
Bailey's Last Game, too, it would seem.) UA has a lot
of potential for fun and it's paid out on more than
one occasion (at least it has for me.)
On the other hand, I'm not too thrilled by Godlike,
but some of my friends are having a blast with it.
More power to 'em. They're having so much fun, I
thought maybe I'd misjudged the game, but then I
played it and something just didn't click. The game
is pure quality, but it just ain't for me.
So I'll probably be fishing for games like UA,
Ghostbusters, TFoS, OtE, Castle Falkenstein and GURPs
in the future, games which give you a lot of room to
define your character. Which is sad, because I might
miss a neat new urban horror game in the process. Ah
well, c'est la vie (I think I spelled that right.)
