I'd probably use the Stalker before a non-entity, just
because monsters don't seem to work very well with my
group.  They're eerie and creepy, sure, but it's scary
if they USED to be human and still have some shreds,
instead of coming at it from a different direction,
like the nonnies.  I've tried to use non-entities with
a couple different groups, so far, and it hasn't
worked.

I went back and re-ran a game that flopped big time
recently, replacing nonnies with some freaky cultists
who worshipped the phoenix and it worked a lot better.
 (Of course, I'd also just used some of Robin Law's
Robin's Laws for re-evaluating my group, which, I
admit, might have played a big part in the
improvements.)

Demon possession works great, but "things" with too
alien of a mindset are a bit too challenging for me. 
I find I can make off-the-cuff decisions easier in
regards to "people" than creatures alien mindsets.  I
suppose it's just one more talent I lack (or lost
somewhere along the way.)

I'm not sure about lycanthropes, yet.
