Cool idea. However, I'm (like several others) leery of
the Dark Stalker. To replace him, I might go with a
nonentity, one that has experienced the heights of
emotion from this one girl and has only now begun to
make his/its move. 

I don't know. I think veteran UA players might expect
to see the Dark Stalker show up and sort of shrug off
the impact as "Huh, another archetype" while a
nonentity might throw 'em for a loop. And I've used
them before to good effect.
