[UA] Ars Hermetica

I just hate the conniving little bastards in general, and the common Wiccan 
assertation that the fey are loving guides for humanity gets my hackles up, 
much like when people claim to be dragons or athropomorphic foxes.

I know about Ars Modernica, but it's not Unseen Armies, now is it?  The 
system itself would be cake to make, considering how basic the UA system is, 
anyway, just a matter of defining spells and powers that would be difficult 
and time-consuming.

As for "what source would these young magi draw from", I had some ideas...  
My first one is that we just use the UA basic magic system for the neo-magi, 
hedge magicians, whatever.  The world has changed, but the Hermetics 
haven't.  Which begs the question: where do Hermetics gain their charges.  
The answer, an idea I've been toying around with: Ritual and Sacrifice.  Vis 
must be gathered for significant charges.  Minor charges, however, are 
aquired automatically due to ritual observances and acts of devotion 
carefully performed by the magus.

Perhaps Hermetics can't gain major charges, so while they are usually more 
powerful then the skulking street-mage, every now and again they'll see 
these people pulling off stuff that the Hermetics just can't imagine.

I don't have "The Mysteries", and likely won't until I get a viable gaming 
group to play Ars Magica with.  I love reading ArM products more then any 
other system, but frugality has to play a role someplace.
