This would explain Marianism...to get with the spirit of the times, to kick
out the Compote's mother, you would need to be a mother without having sex
at all, ever.  Several dozen women did claim this, and their kiddies became
saints...but the point is still there.  While you think of Mother Mary as
the Perfect Mother, it's impossible for someone to fulfil the zeitgeist,
because it requires virgin birth.

Recently the siege is on, of course, because virgin birth is now possible.
Heck, Madonna could be testing the defences of the IC, as the Jailbait, the
Dominatrix and the Woman in Silly Cowboy Boots, as part of her crack at the
Madonna (well, the Whore was already taken...and the competition is
stiffer.)

And if this is in Statosphere, sorry.  I do promise to buy it once I find
out which city my new job is in...my accountant tells me that since I have
derived income from a role-playing column in this financial year, my RP
books weigh in my favour for tax return purposes!  So, I'm going to stock up
before June 30.
