As for the Mother archetype, I've thought up something interesting. There's 
a throwaway line in Statosphere (you don't know how long I thought that was 
spelled with an 'r') that mentions an upstart Mother trying to skew the 
archetype in the 1920's or so and getting blown up by a bomb in an Easter 
egg. Besides the cool symbolism in that, I really like this because it says 
to me that someone is seriously interested in keeping the current Mother 
where she is. Sure, it could be Her, but what if it's not? I had the idea 
that what if the current Mother is still the first one to ever go up? That's 
right. The Comte's mommy is still in the Statosphere and is probably one of 
his heaviest supporters, even if she doesn't always show it. Sure maybe he 
gets annoyed that she smothers him once in a while, but, oh sweet jeebus, if 
you try to send is mom to the House of Renunciation you'd better watch your 
back.
