I've always assumed it was possible, but incredable hard to channel the
Comte, and the reason he is who he is, is that he's an idea, but imagine
this, A wealthy cliomancer gets an idea.
He has to acquire a major charge for it to go, but hear me out. With that
major charge, he makes everyone know that he's the comte. He then finds an
annhilomancer, and offers this individual all his material possessions to
make his history just go away. Assuming the Annhilomancer doesn't betray
the cliomancer (and in all honesty, a sufficiently egomaniacal one would do
it just to see what happened). The annhilomancer takes the guy's stuff, and
drops him naked in the street in Flagstaff Arizona. This man wanders in
with no recollection of any events in his life ever.
The only thing anyone knows about him, is this certain sense that he is the
first man to ever walk the earth.
Would that man really be the comte? Whether or not he is, wouldn't that be
a great premise for a game, a naked man walks into flagstaff knowing
nothing. People think he may the comte...
