I just wanted to chime in for a second and say I'm real glad you indicated that.
Not that I think anyone deliberately goes about minimizing issues (the remark
about the gamers' trivialization ray notwithstanding.) I've worked with folks
with disabilities for fifteen years, and I take their issues very seriously. I
hate to see them cheapened or played for false sentimental bullshit.
Nonetheless, I think those isues, even simplified for public consumption, are
complex and provocative enough to build an intelligent and gripping scenario.
Which is what I'm sure you'll do. I'd love to see what you come up with when you
get there.
