Imagine a monastary where one of the monks did something very wrong once a
long time ago.  Perhaps even before he became a monk.  But the guilt ties
him up inside.  Perhaps that guilt has created enough of a negative vibe
that he attracts demons.  Perhaps he even attracts carnals.

Imagine going the scarlet letter secret sin route, but while he's going
crazy, additionally his fellow monks are being possessed occasionally,
everyone's having nightmares.  And then the rapes begin...
