[UA] Immersive Larp

On one hand, I wouldn't mind seeing a LARP book come out for UA, but I
couldn't write it because I don't LARP. I don't think Tynes does either.
I've got nothing against it, but it's just not my cup of tea. (I don't
like Swiss cheese either, but if other people want to eat it, I don't
consider them weird or flaky.)

That said, stuff like Majestic really makes me kind of newvous. Maybe I'm
an old fuddy-duddy, but I tend to like my fantasy and my reality very
clearly comparmentalized. In fact, I like 'em segregated like the Old
South. Deliberately blurring the lines could be very effective, but part
of me almost regards it as cheating. "Hm. Using timing and immersion to
get people to suspend disbelief, huh? Well, I suppose that's all right, if
you can't come up with a compelling story." But I'm probably just being a
reactionary snob. I'd certainly be interested in hearing a passionate
defense of Majestic-type immersion LARPs, since my resistance is pretty
much based on a gut feeling.

Reality is when you're peeking through a keyhole, and someone comes up
behind you and kicks you in the balls.
