And you're both better people for it. Even Cassady
Toles, who I now feel bad for dissing after his
beautiful closing statement, seems to have enough
sense to steer clear of LARPs (but enough decent
gaming curiosity to have tried one or two.)

I've got a lot against LARP and so does my wife.
Actually, she has three times the resentment toward
almost any live action game that I do. She REALLY
hates to be bossed around.

But I've played in some gems, yes I have. I am an
enormous ham and something in the stage-like feel
appeals to me. Someone on this list described LARPs
as a sort of disconcerting "Merry Prankster" explosion
and they're probably right. However, I just got done
researching the Merry Pranksters and they were pretty
good sometimes. Sometimes they were really, really
bad.

So, after having considered it, I will not put out any
free LARP rules for UA on any of my websites and we
can all breathe a sigh of releif.

(I'm still going to post them for another game, but
this list will be spared the knowledge of their grand
announcement in about a week or so time.)
