Action and intent go together.  As long as the entropomancer is taking the 
chance he thinks he is, he gets a charge.  If he think's I'm gonna see if 
this gun is really loaded or not when he picks up the gun and fires at 
himself he gets the charge.  While there isn't any sort of supernatural 
"danger sense" that entropomancers have, their obsession deals with finding 
risks to take so it could would be a reasonable penumbra skill.
