It always made a lot more sense to me to ditch 01 as the OUACOWA, and make
it, instead, the result of a Perfect Match with the skill. It remains a
single % (or 2%, including flip-flops) chance. And it is the greatest
degree of success possible for you at your skill level. Why remove the
least possible degree of success and make it the greatest? It doesn't make
elegant sense in the system (to my mind).
So in my games if you roll 01 I giggle and tell you how lame your
(successful) attempt was. Roll an 01 to hit me, and I sometimes notice
it... :)
