I believe that Twilight Zone magazine printed the original script of that
episode and then the final script, one issue--it was the same issue with
Ellison's story about the ghost on the laugh track, if that helps.  The
original script was chilling, if memory serves--the Grither wasn't just a
monster, but Santa Claus if he'd been run through the House Of Renunciation
and then recombinated with a knocker from faerie myth.
