So, what you're saying, is that you'd like a Roberts
Rules of Order RPG? Or are you suggesting that there
isn't enough dialogue in RPGs?

In other words, are you seeking a way to control or
encourage dialogue? Would you need to have different
rules for Banter and tabletalk?

Maybe, ala Diplomacy, there would be an official start
and stop time for players to talk to eachother in
character -like a LARP, only much shorter.

I suggest an official Tempororay Authoritarian Zone,
at least once per game, where the players are only
allowed to do exactly what the game master says. If
they even breathe without permission, they would be
subject to re-education. Furthermore, if they failed
to love the game master, rat cages would be strapped
to their faces.

You know what I like about UA? The bits where you can
make your own stuff up. You define your character as
you see fit.

I think all rules for a game, though, should fit
inside an 11 x 14 box top. Unlike other gamers, I've
got a rotten memory and basic operands always bite me
in the ass.

I can't imagine trying to talk in character AND roll
for Social Interaction with Room Tension Modifiers
simultaneously.
