I like the idea of multiple routes. It seems to me that we had a similar discussion
when we were tossing around Odomancy (wasn't that what the trucker/biker school was
called?) I would run it up the blues route, from the rural south up the river to
Chicago, then maybe New York. But I really dig the Rt.66, too. The Trail of Tears.
The Sante Fe Trail. The Blue Ridge Pkwy. The CA Coast Hwy. The Gulf Coast Hwy. The
original 13 colonies. All of these areas have their own character and soul, they may
as well have their own Kundalini. They have towns in common. That could get kind of
ley line-ish. America is ostensibly one political unit, but we need not restrict it
to one metaphysical unit. I could see an ugly conflict emerge if the Rt.66 pilgrims
and the Blues Route pilgrims both needed to be in St. Louis at the same time.
Hey--maybe they'd use Route Medicine--get it? The Arch could be America's
Stonehinge.
"I left out of Georgia in 19 and 34
my baby begged me Daddy please don't go
So I left that town; you know I left that town
When I left out of Georgia, you know I was Memphis bound.
I stayed in Memphis till 1939
The woman I was lovin didn't pay me no mind
So I left that town; you know I left that town
When I left out of Memphis, you know I was St. Louis bound.
I didn't need no steam heat by my bed
The little girl I loved kept me cherry red
But I left that town; you know I left that town
When I left St. Louis, you know I was Chicago bound.
[and so on and so forth]" --Little Walter?
Whichever route you choose, it should have its own song.
Come a tie yi yoopie yoopie yo yoopie yay
Come a tie yi yoopie yoopie yay
