I don't recall a Sturgeon story and I've read most of his
work, but I do remember watching what was probably an
adaption of it on tv.  I think it was one of the old
Amazing Stories episodes.

Speaking of which, there's a decidedly Sturgeonesque flavor
to much of UA.  To use one particular example, does anyone
remember the story he wrote about a man obsessed with
watching in on a woman who isn't? (A woman, that is.) It
was deeply affecting and disturbing at the same time, and
the way the woman was handled sounds a lot like a
Nonentity.
