Name: Derek Ames

Summary: Creepy guy that hangs out in malls and fast food places living off
the emotions of others.  Derek works overnights at a factory.  He shows up
on time every day.  He is quiet and very distracted.  He has been diagnosed
as semi-retarded, but it is because is so often distracted and caught up in
the emotions around him.  Because of this he was placed in an alternative
school which he eventually dropped out of.  He did get his GED though.

Personality: (Cancer) The happiness and feelings of others are more real
than his own.  Intuitive, sensitive, a natural empath.

Obsession: Emotions and the ability of people to experience the full range
and extremes of emotion.

Rage Stimulus: Being forced away from people.  Being excluded from crowds
and public places could very easily set Derek off.
Fear Stimulus: (Helplessness/The Unnatural) The cold and emotionless, be it
other human beings, golems, or clockworks.
Noble Stimulus: Doing the best at whatever he attempts.

to detect and experience the raw emotions of others.

HIGH ROAD: Derek is a good guy.  He loves all other people and lives off
their ups and downs.  He would be a great contact for the PCs and also
would allow them to explore the skill of Mystical Emotion Read.
MIDDLE ROAD: Derek is just one more face in the occult underground.  He's
harmless unless you get him mad.
LOW ROAD: Derek has become addicted to fear and hate.  He strives to cause
them everywhere he goes to feed off of them.
