I'd think they could definitely create some kind of effect that causes
shed skin, lost blood, and other potential forensic evidence to decay
rapidly, turn to dust, spontaneously combust, etc, etc. (This could
work on tissue the adept has already lost; since it was a part of his
body, I'd let him affect it from a distance.)
But if he starts trying to muck with his own genetics, I'd let him
try... and find out the hard way that humans still don't know whole
lot about how genetics works. (Seriously, one screwed up protein can
wreak ungodly damage on you!)
