While I feel the same way towards carnals, I think they're a very powerful
and realistic manifestation. If all this stuff is generated solely by human
beings, then Carnals make the most sense to me, since I'd be hard-pressed to
find a topic more concentrated on and open to obsession and perversion than
our single most important biological imperative.
So they're unpleasant, but so are we before being filtered by society.
Off-topic, but slightly on-topic for the header: I don't mind the easy-eye
type font, but do the blank full pages irritate anyone else? It's a minor
nitpick, I know, but it felt like filler.
Overall, a terrific job on the magic book. Usually a magic supplement is
filled with dreary optional rules and dry text. Not so in this case. The
rules fit neatly and seem actually useful, and the schools, items, and
artifacts paint a broader picture of what's possible and happening in the OU
rather than hedging it in.

pathetic social maladjustment makes impossible for you to find elsewhere."
