The most likely problem is that the Type155.dll version located in your
.\TrnsysXX\Exe\ folder does not match the version of Matlab that you
have installed. There are a number of alternate versions of Type155.dll
corresponding to different versions of Matlab located in the
.\TrnsysXX\Exe\DLLs\ directory. There are a number of other possible
problems. Please refer to the Type155 section of the
04-MathematicalReference manual for the most up to date knowledge base
about troubleshooting the connection. If you have tried all of the
suggestions in the documentation and still aren't having any luck with
the connection, I would recommend contacting your distributor. If you
do, please specify which version of Trnsys you are running and which
version of Matlab you have installed. The Trnsys version can be found by
opening the file .\TrnsysXX\trnsys.ini using a text editor such as Notepad.

kind regards,

  David
