Toni,

  Type83 will compute the derivative of an input that you give it. Send 
your storage temperature to Type83 and watch the derivative; if it gets 
too small then you can increase the compressor speed. There is also a 
PID controller (Type23) whose gain constants you can tune to get your 
compressor to respond to the changing tank temperature.
