 Hi,
As far as I know you can call ANSYS from MATLAB or call TRNSYS from MATLAB. ANSYS does not have the environment like MATLAB or Python to call other softwares.

Hello,

I would think that if a solution was working in TRNSYS 17, it should still work in TRNSYS 18. But I am not aware of such a solution.

As a possible workaround, you could use the TRNSYS components calling Matlab or Python, and from there call ANSYS. A similar workflow is possible with COMSOL (TRNSYS -> Matlab -> Comsol), at least in theory.

Perhaps some users have tried them and can comment. I have no experience with these combinations myself.

I think you can call ansys by using Trnsys 17. As per my knowledge in Transys 18 its not possible.
