[TRNSYS-users] Type 534 Auxiliary Heating Rate

I’m guessing that if you check your list file you’ll find that the simulation isn’t converging. From your description, you’ve created a circular reference; the input auxiliary to the tank is a function of the output auxiliary that went into the tank. But the output for auxiliary is simply the input auxiliary that went into the tank. So your input auxiliary is a function of your input auxiliary. This is an ill defined problem and can’t be solved.
Why does the amount available for input to the tank depend on what you’re sending to the tank? Simply take your production, subtract off the other uses and send the rest to the tank.
