You are using a version of TRNSYS 17 that is more than 10 years old.  We 
no longer support version 17 but I had a few minutes between phone calls 
so I took a quick look.  The bug you found was fixed many years ago and 
I STRONGLY advise you to upgrade to version 18.  I will send you the 
updated proforma for Type 557 for TRNSYS 17 in a separate e-mail once 
you have proven ownership of the v17 TRNSYS software.  But please take a 
minute and fix a few other things.  Add pipes between the components of 
your ground loop to add some capacitance.  Change your timestep from 1 
hour to something like 5 minutes.  Order your components intelligently.
