If you check your list file, it will tell you exactly which DLLs TRNSYS found and which Types were loaded from each DLL. If I had to guess, I would guess you didn’t change the Type number and that TRNSYS is loading the DLL with the older type before it finds your new DLL….

Ps - the DLLs go in the UserLib directory in either the Release or Debug subdirectory depending on how they were built.

In the documentation it talks about placing it in the proper directory for the TRNSYS engine kernel to load it during a simulation. I do not know where that proper directory or location is. automatically the dlls files are placed in the userlib so that is where it is right now and judging by the fact that i am still getting the same results from the type during simulation, my new edited type doesn't get loaded during the simulation. So my question is how do I direct the engine to read my new dll file or where should I place it?
