[TRNSYS-users] Type 399: Clarification about the parameters and external file inputs

Hello, 

Please I need clarification about the following parameters and external file in Type 399. 

Parameters:
1) heat capacity of layer n-1: Here n-1 layer is the PCM layer, is the cp value for the liquid or solid phase
2) lower phase change temperature: is this picked from the melting or solidification curve considering hysteresis effect 
3) upper phase change temperature: is this picked from the melting or solidification curve considering hysteresis effect 

External file
For the two external files cp values; one for heating and one for cooling down are they the specific enthalpy h(T) as a function of the material temperature curve for melting and crystallisation process as stated in Fig 4 of the Type 399 manual? 

What unit should the cp values be expressed?
