[TRNSYS-users] Incorrect visual transmission values / negative value for non visual Transmission

Hi Toni,

according to the files you attached, every pane of your window is coated on the outside. That seems an unusual configuration, is that really what you are trying to model? You could also export your W7.7 configuration to a *.mdb file, then we can have a look and understand how it was generated.

Best regards,
Christina

Betreff: [TRNSYS-users] Incorrect visual transmission values / negative value for non visual Transmission

Hi everyone,

I used WINDOW 7.7 (following step by step the attached tutorial) to model four windows and I exported the *.dat file (here attached).

I imported it in TRNBUILD library to run a simulation (I am using Trnsys18). The model works but in the log file appear messages regarding the "visual transmission values" and the "incorrect selectivity of visual+solar transmission" (see attached the log file).

It is the first time I am using WINDOW 7.7. Probably I did something wrong.

Could you please check the *.dat file in order to understand if the *.dat file is correct? I asked already the developers of WINDOW tool, but they told me this is something correlated to Trnsys itself.

Thanks a lot and have a nice day.
