Dear Adnan,

you may use Type 14 got the time depending set temperature as an output which you may use for further control.
Keep in mind that controls by equation may cause instability. It is recommended to use a controller Type with temperature bands (e.g. Type 2)

Dear Marion Hiller ,
i checked Type 14 output will not work in this situation.
Actually i want to control natural ventilation window open and close according to the set point, at the corresponding time span. As i write before temperature is room temperature, on behalf of that window should be open and close. if room temperature is high than the set value at particular time span window should open (natural ventilation).

00 to 5h.... temp set point 18 C
5-10h.... temperature set point 22 C
10-18h....23 C
18 -24h...24 C

Thanks

Betreff: [TRNSYS-users] TRNSYS time equation

Hello everyone,

i want to use an equation for two control parameters time and temperature . like my control is

00 to 5h.... temp set point 18 C
5-10h.... temperature set point 22 C
10-18h....23 C
18 -24h...24 C
i need to get output as 0 or 1, i am already using the following equation which is only allowing me to set one temperature set point, i need to set different temperature set points during complete one day.

GT(Temp,20)

how i can add time function with this equation

Thanks
