Jing,
You may need to open the *.bui file with your copy of TRNBuild and
then resave it; this will force the recreation of the *.trn, *.bld, and
*.inf files with your version of TRNBuild.
If that does not solve the problem then I would recommend putting the
*.bui file somewhere in the ..\TrnsysXX\ directory structure and also
that you make sure that Trnsys is not installed in the \Program Files\
directory. Both the \Program Files\ directory and the ..\Desktop\
directory (where the error message suggests the *.bld file is located)
can have significant restrictions on whether files can be written in
those locations. It may be that TRNBuild is not able to write the *.bld
file when it is in the .\Desktop directory.
