We are looking to model an ice storage tank that is not installed in the ground. But somewhere in or near a building (~ 2
The tank is connected to a solar collector (charging) and to a heat pump (discharging). Both via a heat exchanger.

Len - what features do you need in your ice storage tank (you mentioned that 343 isn't suitable but didn't give a reason why)?  This will help us answer your questions.
