[TRNSYS-users] Variable speed heat pump compressor heat pump in TRNSYS

Hi Dear TRNSYS user,


I will be using TRNSYS for my research work on variable speed heat pump compressor for demand side management and network stability.


I have started learning TRANSYS since last two months and have got some basic ideas.I wish to start in systematic way.  Once I look into the different heat pump mathematical models, get confused i.e Geometrical or Physical model, semi empirical model(including the lumped model), empirical model. I am not sure which model should i select at this early stage which should be useful to achieve the objectives associated with the topic at later stage.


I need some suggestions and a simple start point which can lead me to go through my PhD studies? Furthermore as a part of my  work i need to do some experiments with the test bed. So what parameters should i expect from the test bed?
