[TRNSYS-users] TRNSYS Simulation Fresnel & steam

Lucio,

The current models in the TESS Libraries do not include the option for two phase flow in the solar collector models. If this is of great interest, we could prepare a quote to perform the necessary changes to allow for steam.

Let me know!

However, as a first step I would be interested (if it is possible) to simulate the boiling process within the Fresnel collector as a direct steam generator (DSG). Have you developed any library that can simulate that effect?

Have you considered keeping the collector loop isolated from the steam loop and utilizing a steam generator to create the steam? Many of the large solar power plants utilize this concept.

In this tank, it is possible to define the pressure. However, I have seen that in the solar collector field it is not possible to fix the outlet pressure, only the Cp can be modified.
